Bright saturated colors. Possibly Luri-Bahktiari. Note bird motifs (Khamseh influence?). Interest in tribal textiles eventually compelled JD to seek things other than Baluch.

Ex James Douglas personal collection. Mr. Douglas was a scholar and aficionado of Mideast tribal weaving who’s research and publications focused on antique textiles of Persia, Afghanistan, and Baluchistan.
