DESCRIPTION
Repetitive small diamonds on indigo field. The “dollar sign” border is a rare feature used only by a small population of Baluchistan weavers.

Ex James Douglas personal collection. Mr. Douglas was a scholar and aficionado of Mideast tribal weaving. His research and publications focused on antique textiles of Persia, Afghanistan, and Baluchistan.

CONDITION
Good with iron-dye oxidation and use-wear as shown.
