Early camel ground piece with leaf motifs that resemble lightning bolts. Small sporadic safron yellow highlights are unique.

Ex James Douglas personal collection. Mr. Douglas was a scholar and aficionado of Mideast tribal weaving. His research and publications focused on antique textiles of Persia, Afghanistan, and Baluchistan.
