DESCRIPTION
Brass pair with flaring socket, square extracting holes, and knopped plinth. While style and construction is correct for 15th century Flemish Period sticks other elements suggest 19th century. I’ve heard the English made all sorts of early forms all the way into the 19th century. Possibly what these are. A 15th century pair of knopped Gothic sticks are $10K+. These are less expensive.
