DESCRIPTION
Diminutive or miniature American treenware trencher-form piece. Late 18th or early 19th century. Possibly unique. Resembles a two handle porringer or master salt-- but I don't believe those forms would be functional in treenware. Fantastic quality of workmanship and finest color and patina. Rare keeper-quality small item for the burl bowl collector that thought he had everything.

CONDITION
One handle has a chip on the corner. Otherwise excellent.
