With blown glass and original pewter whale oil burner this is one of the earlier examples of this form probably predating 1850. Rare.

This is one of several antique lanterns recently acquired from a fine estate lighting collection.

CONDITION
 Well used--  But structurally sound. The pictures tell the story.
