DESCRIPTION
Great patina. At least 18th century if not earlier. Never seen one with such a large base. With lighting devices prompts the theory it was intended for maritime use. Just a theory. In any case, superlative gutsy example. Ex Stephen-Douglas, folk art dealer/collectors par excellence.

CONDITION
