Rare early treenware box w/ internal brass ink well and old quill pen. Beautiful early carving. The forged iron ring is an 18th century repair. Ex Stephen-Douglas, Rockingham VT.

CONDITION
We won't look this good when we are 400 years old. (I dont even look this good now). The photos tell the story.
