DESCRIPTION
Octagonal inlaid mahogany box with original bone orlvry excutcheon and period brass--  could well be late 18th century. Interior has early green lining; maybe jewelry, chess set, or whatnot. it seems unlikely that it was ever a tea caddy-- but I'm not sure. Just a bloody beautiful old thing whatever it is.

CONDITION
Some decent small repairs to inlay. Main issue is warpage of the lid so it doesnt sit tight... makes it affordable.
