DESCRIPTION
Perhaps Kurdish but I'm unsure on this one.  Could be Northwest or Southwest. Wouldn't rule out Azerbeijani. An unusual and perhaps diagnostic feature is the ultra wide side selvedges and use of variably colored natural brown wool warps. Fuscine ground in the border-- suggesting circa 1910. A very interesting and serviceable old piece.
