DESCRIPTION
Possibly Luristan. Ethnographic and Interesting because this was someone’s coveted little personal bag. Interest in tribal textiles eventually compelled JD to seek things other than Baluch.

Ex James Douglas personal collection. Mr. Douglas was a scholar and aficionado of Mideast tribal weaving. His research and publications focused on antique textiles of Persia, Afghanistan, and Baluchistan.

CONDITION
Note old blue fabric patch repair near the top. Someone loved this piece and used it thoroughly.
