DESCRIPTION
Three botehs and three flowers. Striped back; red weft. Charming little personal object. I suspect Southwest Persian but I’ll leave pinning down ethnic identification to the savvy collectors.

Ex James Douglas personal collection. Mr. Douglas was a scholar and aficionado of Mideast tribal weaving. His research and publications focused on ethnographic textiles of Persia, Afghanistan, and Baluchistan.
