Unusual combination or repetitive stars in lattice field coupled with white “stars and bars” border. Likely, Khorasan.

Ex James Douglas personal collection. Mr. Douglas was a scholar and aficionado of Mideast tribal weaving. His research and publications focused on antique textiles of Persia, Afghanistan, and Baluchistan.

CONDITION
Pile is plush and even. Imperfections and attrition around periphery (as shown).
