DESCRIPTION
3 Medallion version of a classic South Caucasus rug. Kerimov notes "pennon" appendages within the medallions as especially beautiful and diagnostic (v., Azadi et al 2001 Azerbeijami Rugs: Fig 178). 

Rare and exquisite old estate piece in as-found condition.

CONDITION
Well used but stable. Note brown oxidation with visible wefts here and there. Fluffy ancient reweave on right proximal corner.
