DESCRIPTION
Dense springy wool on light brown wool foundation tells the story. Definitely Serab. Otherwise you might think its from the Caucasus. Its not just Lesge stars that are unusual for a Serab. Indigo blue rather than camel color ground. I’ve never seen a blue Serab. Also note— four cute little flop-eared dogs. Aside from this everything else is quite Serab-like. Very charming and decorative old rug.

CONDITION
Just a bit of attrition at ends (old whip-stitch stabilization). Mostly plush and excellent albeit a little lower pile toward the center. Please see all photos.
