Large atypical elongated medallion is a bit reminiscent of Bakshaish format. Also note abundant scattering of little repetitive 4-square knots throughout the field. Esoteric affectation of this weaver. Fine clear, warm natural dyes in the Serapi tradition. Abundant gold and greens are especially beautiful. Unique narrowish size and proportion would be hard to find if you are looking

CONDITION
There are a few small areas in the filed that are a bit lower. But overall this rug is excellent and plush.
