DESCRIPTION
A glowing gem of Kurdish 19th century weaving. White border with early Sauj Bulak design. Pieces of this variety are sometimes referred to as Western Mountains Kurd as well as Sauj Bulak. The slit tapestry kelims are a most unique and beautiful feature.  A rare as well as decorative ethnographic piece. The photos speak for themselves.

CONDITION
Lowish in the center but even. Original sides and ends. No repairs. All in all really very good considering its age.
