DESCRIPTION
Large intricately turned piece with attached reeded handles. Footed base bowl (to catch grounds) originally locked by twisting but now holds mainly by friction. Forged iron grinder set with hand wrought hardware is housed in upper case. Appears to be American Ash burl. Object is possibly North European but cant rule out American. I could find no comps whatsoever. Something for the ash burl collector who thought he had acquired everything.

CONDITION
Well used with honest use-wear; otherwise, sturdy and good. (See pictures.)
