DESCRIPTION
American reverse glass commemorative portrait. These were made during a fairly brief period circa 1820s-30s, North European for the American Market. I think they were specifically targeted to the Pennsylvania Dutch. Always bold colors and very naive. You see various renderings of early presidents and statesmen from the early Federal Period. This one has original frame and backboard. These things are fairly rare often expensive at auction. (google auctions for comps).

Not perfect but remarkably nice and all original. Please examine the photos carefully. The photos tell the story.
