DESCRIPTION
Possibly Southeast PA. Fine and colorful rendering. A bit large for a book plate. Cant rule out reward of merit or birth/baptismal piece (given that it is dated).

Interesting Period splined pine frame and glass has original red paint and back is chamferred and morticed such that you can disassemble and remove paper ( as I did to examine and photograph).

Opulent and decorative little folk art wall art.

CONDITION
Corners and edges show a bit of attrition. Some professional conservation done on the margins. All fairly innocuous and central is relatively nice and solid.
