Exceptionally vibrant decoration is consistent with Harvey Filley tinshop, Philadelphia, PA. See Martin and Tucker vol 3 Fig., 3.64 for a similar specimen also having rare triple leaf border on the lid and foot rim.

CONDITION
Well above average as early tinware goes. Paint is excellent. on one side; not as much obverse. Honest wear to the asphaltum as shown. Please examine the photos carefully. The photos tell the story.
