DESCRIPTION
Schiffer “Brass Book” (pp 167 C&D) shows similar single examples with baluster stems, elevated drip pans, triangular bases, and complex assembly— stated to be Spanish origin, late 17th century. Bruce likely coveted these for the fact they are a true pair— (very rare). Ex personal collection of the late Bruce Knight, Springfield Ohio.

CONDITION
Aside from innocuous mid plinth solder (right example) both are very good and in original condition/patina.
