DESCRIPTION
Circa mid 19th century. Panel cut with ground pontil mark. Unusual form with tall plinth. Dazzling quality flint glass; exceptional workmanship. Large heavy piece that could be used as a compote for fruit or whatever— but also large enough to serve as a punch bowl. (would definitely hold a lot of eggnog).
