arm chair is 45 1/2 tall; side chair is 42 inches.

DESCRIPTION
It would be a shame to split them. Both are nearly identical to the two shown in Fales Deerfield Furniture book fig 41 and 43. Details of turnings and crest rail indicate same maker or shop for all four chairs. Similar old brown spirit varnish finish as well.

CONDITION
Arm chair has been so cleverly ended it is virtually invisible. Otherwise both are Excellent.
