DESCRIPTION
Interesting exaggerated hand holds-- some sort of regional New England thing. Gutsy deep ball turnings date pre 1750. Fine early paint. Upholstered seat is unoriginal but decorative and makes the chair useful and comfortable.

CONDITION
Sturdy and serviceable tho various issues and restorations.
