DESCRIPTION
Maple with splayed sausage and vase posts. Remnants of early, possibly original paint. Other forms are more abundant. (We’ve seen only one other American example of a HC w/ yoke back and Queen Ann splat). Possibly Rhode Island.

CONDITION
Well executed true rush seat is later replacement. Shallow insect damage on the yoke. Otherwise structurally sound.
