DESCRIPTION
Rare form, relatively small size, harks of earlier William and Mary influences. Unique features include blocked front and prospect door similar to slant front desk gallery. Early if not original Japanned finish with gold decoration and excellent patina. From an old St Louis Estate. Personal collection.

CONDITION
Hand beveled mirror glass is either a careful custom made replacement or original with re-silvering. Minor veneer and other attrition. You won’t look this good when you are 300 years old. Examine photos.
