It’s an interesting fact that right up to the time England and the US were getting ready to fight the Revolutionary War (Round 2) English potters were still making and selling patriotic commemoratives to their Colonial brethren. This is a crisply rendered beautiful example with fine large bird, well proportioned and perfectly centered. Personal collection item.
